Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Helsingborg
Your journey begins in the historic seaside city of Helsingborg. Upon arrival, check in to your centrally located hotel and settle into the relaxed coastal atmosphere of southern Sweden. If time allows, take the opportunity to explore this charming medieval town by the ocean. Stroll through its lively streets, enjoy views of the sea, or simply soak in the atmosphere of this historic gateway to the Kullen Peninsula.
Helsingborg offers a pleasant introduction to the region with its blend of culture, coastal scenery, and inviting cafés. This first evening is a chance to unwind and prepare for the hiking adventure that begins the following day.

Day 2: Höganäs
After breakfast, begin your hike north along the coastline on what is often called the Castle Walk. Leaving Helsingborg behind, the trail passes attractive gardens on small hills overlooking the city before reaching the royal summer residence of Sofiero Castle, famous for its magnificent gardens. Continuing along the coast, the path leads through small seaside villages such as Hittarp, Domsten, and Lerberget.
A worthwhile detour takes you to the historic Kulla Gunnarstorp Castle, dating back to the fifteenth century. As the day progresses, views open toward the Kullen Peninsula in the distance. Arrive in the charming town of Höganäs, where shops and restaurants invite an evening stroll.

Day 3: Mölle
Today’s stage is shorter and relaxed, allowing plenty of time to appreciate the coastal landscape. The trail follows gentle paths and smaller gravel roads close to the sea, offering peaceful views throughout the walk. Along the way, a brief detour leads to historic Krapperup Castle, surrounded by an impressive park that invites a leisurely visit.
The route then continues toward the picturesque village of Mölle, long known as a classic seaside resort. Once there, explore the village streets lined with charming houses, browse small shops, or relax at a café such as the cozy Mölle pottery workshop. If the weather invites, you may even enjoy a refreshing swim in the ocean.

Day 4: Arild
This is one of the most scenic days of the journey, filled with dramatic landscapes and memorable viewpoints. From Mölle, the trail climbs along cliffside paths and passes through birch and oak forest on the way toward Kullens Lighthouse. The walk takes about ninety minutes to reach this remarkable landmark, Sweden’s highest situated lighthouse, where sweeping coastal views await.
On the way, you may stop at Ransviks Café beside a pebble beach that invites a swim. From the lighthouse, the trail continues through beautiful beech forest toward Arild. If energy allows, a detour leads to the striking wooden sculpture Nimis before reaching your accommodation for a well deserved rest.

Day 5: Ängelholm
After breakfast, begin the day with a pleasant coastal walk leading to the well known café Flickorna Lundgren på Skäret, a classic stop for a morning break. The trail continues toward Bökebäck harbor before reaching Jonstorp, passing through open heather fields with views toward the island of Hallands Väderö and the Bjäre Peninsula.
Further along, the landscape changes as you approach Farhult, known for its long sandy beach. Near the end of the route, the path crosses the bird rich river mouth of Görslövsån via a suspension bridge. From Utvälinge, a short local bus ride brings you to Ängelholm, where comfortable hotel facilities await.

Day 6: Departure
Your journey along the Kullaleden Trail concludes after breakfast at your hotel in Ängelholm. Following several days of coastal hiking through villages, forests, and dramatic seaside landscapes, this final morning offers a relaxed end to the experience. Depending on your travel plans, you may take some time to explore the town before departing.
