Departure – Return to Porto Airport

After breakfast on Day 8, a transfer from the Douro Valley back to Porto is arranged, bringing you either to your city hotel or directly to Porto Airport. The journey offers a final chance to enjoy the region’s terraced hills and scenic views. For independent arrangements, taxis from Porto city center to the airport cost approximately €25–40, with travel time of 25–30 minutes. To ensure a smooth departure, it’s best not to book flights before 12:00 p.m., allowing enough time for check-out, travel, and airport formalities. This comfortable return completes your unforgettable Douro Valley walking adventure.

During these months, daytime temperatures range from 18–26°C (64–79°F), offering comfortable conditions for walking and sightseeing.
