Day 3: St. Vigil

Your tour starts in Hochpustertal, with accommodation in or around Toblach/Dobbiaco or Villabassa/Niederdorf. The most convenient way to arrive is by train. Travel via Innsbruck over the Brenner Pass to Franzensfeste/Fortezza, then change to a regional train toward Lienz and get off at Toblach/Dobbiaco or Villabassa/Niederdorf, depending on your hotel location.
From the station, hotels are easily reachable by a short taxi ride. If arriving by car, take the A22 Brenner motorway to Brixen/Bressanone, exit toward Pustertal, and continue along SS49. Parking is available near the hotel. Airport transfers can also be arranged on request.
DEPARTURE
Your tour ends back in the Toblach/Dobbiaco or Villabassa/Niederdorf area after completing the loop. From here, you can depart conveniently by train using the same railway connections via Franzensfeste/Fortezza toward Innsbruck or other major cities. If you are continuing your journey, taxis can be arranged from your hotel to the nearest train station.
For those traveling by car, simply return to your parked vehicle and retrace your route via the Pustertal valley. Private transfers to nearby airports can also be organized upon request if needed.
