Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Brixen
Your journey begins with an individual arrival in the historic town of Brixen, a charming gateway to the Dolomites. As you settle into your hotel, take time to absorb the relaxed alpine atmosphere and the cultural character of this episcopal town. Surrounded by mountain scenery and traditional South Tyrolean architecture, Brixen offers a gentle introduction to the landscapes that await.
You may choose to explore the town at your own pace, enjoying its streets, cafés, and welcoming ambiance. The day is intentionally unhurried, allowing you to prepare for the hiking experience ahead while easing into the rhythm of the tour.

Day 2: Bruneck
After a short morning transfer, you begin your first hike from Rodeneck, stepping onto the sunny high plateau of the Lüsn-Rodeneck Alm. The route unfolds across open alpine terrain with sweeping views over the Brixen basin, the Eisack Valley, and distant Dolomite peaks. Along the way, small mountain lakes and traditional inns create inviting rest points, adding charm to the journey.
Passing highlights such as the Black Lake and Walder Alm, the trail gradually transitions into a descent toward Montal. By evening, you arrive in Bruneck or Reischach, where the day concludes in a peaceful alpine setting.

Day 3: Prags
The day begins with a cable car ascent to Kronplatz, a renowned hiking and ski mountain that offers expansive panoramic views. From here, your route descends via the Furkel Pass into the Fanes–Sennes–Prags Nature Park, one of South Tyrol’s most impressive protected landscapes.
The scenery shifts to a more dramatic alpine environment as you walk from the Fojedöra alpine pasture beneath the imposing Seekofel massif. The highlight of the day is the arrival at Pragser Wildsee, often described as the pearl of the Dolomite lakes, where serene waters reflect the surrounding peaks. An optional extension via Hochalpensee is available for experienced hikers.

Day 4: Cortina
Today’s route leads you through one of the most scenic sections of the journey, beginning with the ascent to Plätzwiese, a renowned hiking area celebrated for its unique flora and tranquil alpine lakes. Surrounded by notable peaks such as Hohe Gaisl and the Kreuzkofel group, the landscape feels both expansive and intimate.
From Plätzwiese, the trail continues toward Helltal via Strudelkopf, offering remarkable views of iconic Dolomite landmarks including the Three Peaks, Tofana, and Monte Cristallo. The day concludes with your arrival in Cortina, where the alpine charm of this celebrated destination provides a fitting end to the hike.

Day 5: Departure
Your final morning begins in Cortina, often referred to as the Queen of the Dolomites. After breakfast, your tour concludes with an individual departure, allowing flexibility based on your onward travel plans. You may choose to extend your stay and further explore the surrounding mountains or enjoy the town’s alpine atmosphere before leaving.

Can I use my credit card insurance?
Yes, as long as it meets our requirements and provides adequate coverage. Ensure you have an emergency contact number and policy number available.
When should I buy travel insurance?
Purchase travel insurance as soon as you've paid in full or booked your flights.

We do not sell travel insurance directly, as we believe our customers should have the freedom to choose a policy that best suits their needs. However, we recommend Insured Nomads as a great starting point.
