Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Vietri Sul Mare
You arrive in Vietri sul Mare—famous for its colorful ceramics—or the nearby fishing village of Cetara where your adventure begins. Both are perfect introductions to the Amalfi Coast’s charm. Later in the day, you’ll meet with our local representative for a welcome briefing and receive your bike. If you arrive early, take a short warm-up ride to explore the vibrant ceramics shops in Vietri or the quiet harbor of Cetara. In the evening, stroll through the quaint village streets and enjoy a local dinner. The gentle sea breeze, colorful houses, and warm hospitality set the tone for the days ahead.

Day 2: Amalfi
Begin your first full cycling day on the iconic Amalfi Coast road—often called the most scenic ride in the world. Pedal through Vietri, then Cetara, where you might pause for a coffee by the fishing boats. Climb to Capo d’Orso for breathtaking views of the coastline and Capri. Descend past lemon groves and dramatic cliffs into Maiori, then continue to Minori and picturesque Atrani. Before reaching Amalfi, you can make an optional detour to Ravello—home to serene gardens and unforgettable vistas. Alternatively, save Ravello for tomorrow. End your ride in Amalfi, where you can explore the historic Duomo and charming backstreets before dinner.

Day 3: Amalfi
Leave the coastline behind and head into the peaceful mountain villages that are the hidden gems of the Amalfi Coast. Your ride starts with a climb through the Dragone Valley, passing Castiglione on the way to Pontone, Minuta, and medieval Scala. The E-bike makes the steady ascent to Ravello manageable and enjoyable. Take time to stroll its cobbled streets, visit Villa Cimbrone or Villa Rufolo, and enjoy panoramic garden views. Continue through wild inland landscapes toward Tramonti, a quiet town perfect for lunch. In the afternoon, descend back to the coast via Maiori and Minori. Stop in Atrani for a coffee or lemon cake before returning to Amalfi.

Day 4: Sant’Agata
Today you continue along the dazzling Strada Amalfitana, cycling past Praiano and Furore’s dramatic fjord. Stop to admire the Grotta Azzurra sea cave or pause in Positano to explore its iconic pastel-colored stairways. After Positano, the scenery grows wilder with views of the "Islands of the Sirens." The road climbs steadily to Colli di San Pietro and then up to Sant’Agata sui Due Golfi, perched between the Amalfi and Sorrento coasts.

Day 5: Sant’Agata
Ride through the heart of the Sorrento Peninsula, where you’ll enjoy sweeping views over both the Amalfi Coast and the Bay of Naples. You’ll head toward Termini, the last village before Punta Campanella, with views of Capri from the road and the Chapel of San Costanzo. If you’re feeling adventurous, detour to Marina del Cantone for a beach break or explore Baia di Ieranto nature reserve. Continue to Massa Lubrense and descend into Sorrento. Walk your bike through its historic center, exploring ancient villas and lively piazzas. Afterward, ride back uphill to Sant’Agata for a relaxing final evening.
Day 6: Departure
After breakfast, your tour concludes in Sant’Agata sui Due Golfi. From here, you can easily travel onward to Naples or return to Salerno via Sorrento. If you’re not ready to leave, consider adding an extra day to explore Mount Faito and the mountain scenery above the coast—ideal for experienced cyclists or nature lovers looking to take in sweeping views of the peninsula.

Arrival & Departure Details
Arrival
The tour begins in Vietri sul Mare. The most convenient airport is Naples International Airport (Capodichino), which has frequent flights from major European and international cities. From the airport, you can reach Vietri sul Mare by taking a direct airport shuttle or local bus to Naples Centrale train station, and then boarding a regional train to Salerno. The journey from Naples to Salerno takes around 40–50 minutes. From Salerno, Vietri is just one stop away by local train or can be reached in about 15 minutes by bus or taxi. Alternatively, you can take a ferry from Salerno to Vietri for a scenic arrival by sea. Salerno is also well-connected by high-speed trains from Rome and other major Italian cities, making Vietri sul Mare easily accessible whether you are arriving by air, train, or bus.
Departure
Your tour concludes in Sant’Agata. From here, you have several options for onward travel. The nearest major transport hub is Sorrento, just a 20–30-minute taxi or local bus ride away. From Sorrento, you can catch direct Circumvesuviana trains to Naples, which take about an hour. Naples Central Station connects to high-speed trains across Italy, while Naples International Airport (NAP) is reachable from the station in 10–15 minutes by taxi or airport shuttle. Alternatively, if you're heading towards Salerno, you can take a local bus or private transfer via Amalfi or Positano, then continue by train to Salerno, which is also well-connected to other Italian cities. For a scenic return, ferries from Sorrento to Naples or Salerno may be available depending on the season. Whichever route you choose, plan for extra travel time due to winding coastal roads.
Weather
The Amalfi Coast and Sorrento Peninsula enjoy a Mediterranean climate that makes spring, late summer, and early autumn ideal for cycling.
March marks the beginning of the season, with mild temperatures and early blooms transforming the hillsides into a lush green canvas. April and May are particularly scenic, with sunny days, pleasant warmth, and wildflowers dotting the coastal paths—perfect for relaxed e-biking and photo stops.
June brings early summer charm with longer daylight hours and warmer seas, though it’s wise to start rides early to avoid the midday heat. August tends to be hotter and busier due to local holidays, but coastal breezes and the option to dip into the sea offer refreshing relief.
September is a sweet spot—still warm, but less crowded, with golden sunsets and mellow evenings. October sees a gentle cooling of the weather, ideal for more peaceful rides through cliffside villages and citrus groves, as the crowds thin and the landscape takes on a softer, golden hue.

Frequently Asked Questions
We provide an app-based navigation system that can also be used offline. You can download the app to your phone in advance, and we will share the login details ahead of your trip. Since the app works offline, it helps conserve your phone's battery during use.
For minor issues like punctures, the guests are provided with a self-repair kit, which includes tools to help them fix such minor issues. The exact contents of the kit depend on the type of bike, terrain and other factors, and will be communicated to you closer to your date of departure. However, usually such a kit includes tire levers, a spare tube, a patch kit, and a pump, allowing riders to fix the problem themselves. In some cases, the kit may only include a pump or a repair foam.
Self-guided riders are expected to be independent in handling these minor problems. While there are some bike shops along the route, they are limited. If you are unsure about how to repair a puncture, we recommend considering a guided or van-supported trip instead.
For major mechanical failures, such as a cable break, the guests can contact the emergency support number provided. The support team will help coordinate a solution, which could include dispatching a local mechanic, suggesting a nearby bicycle shop for repairs, or sending a vehicle to pick up the rider. Please note that all support services will be provided on a chargeable basis, and assistance may take time, so we advise being prepared for potential delays.
We provide 24/7 emergency support by phone for any medical emergencies during the tour. Our team will assist in coordinating medical care, guiding you to the nearest healthcare facility, and ensuring you receive the necessary support. The national emergency system is reliable and effective, and in the event of a serious accident, contacting them is highly recommended. However, due to our distance from certain areas, response times may be longer. We strongly recommend having appropriate travel insurance, and we will do everything we can to ensure your safety and well-being during an emergency.
The fitness level required for each trip is indicated by the "level" of the tour, which in turn is mentioned on each tour page right next to the price and the trip duration.
Easy: The terrain is mostly flat with a few gentle climbs.

Please note that we usually bike around 4-5 hours per day irrespective of the level of the trip.
You can exchange currency at the airport itself, or at ATMs in larger cities. Most commercial establishments will accept international credit cards for payments, though its good to carry some local currency with you at all times.
The meeting time on Day 1 is mentioned in your travel planner shared with you. You can arrive either on the morning of Day 1 depending on the meeting time, or book a pre-tour night to arrive a day earlier.
Yes, we can provide helmets. However, we recommend that guests try to bring their own helmets, as these are items of a personal nature.

We recommend that you carry no more than 2 bags together weighing up to 15kgs for this trip. You can have one large bag, which contains all your clothing and gear needed for the trip, and one small bag that contains essential items you will frequently need such as passport etc. Please note that once a bag gets loaded in the luggage transfer vehicle, you may not have access to it till later in the evening when you reach the hotel for the night.
