We begin at the historic Yuantong Temple, one of Yunnan’s oldest and most important Buddhist temples, before visiting Green Lake Park, a popular gathering place known for its scenic gardens and local atmosphere. We then continue to the remarkable Stone Forest (Shilin), a UNESCO World Heritage Site located approximately 90 kilometres from Kunming. Here, we wander through a maze of towering limestone pillars, narrow pathways, and dramatic rock formations created over 270 million years ago.
