Arrive at Falcone–Borsellino Airport (PMO), the main gateway to western Sicily. A private transfer is included from the airport to your hotel in Scopello, ensuring a smooth and comfortable start to your journey. Alternatively, Scopello can be reached via AST Bus Sicily services from Palermo to Castellammare del Golfo, followed by a short taxi ride, or by train connections to nearby towns.

Departure

On Day 8, after breakfast, your tour concludes in Trapani. You can depart via Falcone–Borsellino Airport (PMO) or Trapani–Birgi Airport (TPS), both offering convenient flight connections. Regular services operated by AST Bus Sicily and regional trains connect Trapani with Palermo and other major cities.

Sicily’s west coast enjoys a classic Mediterranean climate with warm sunshine, coastal breezes, and long dry seasons, making it ideal for walking tours from April to October.

The best months are April (15–22°C / 59–72°F), May (18–26°C / 64–79°F), September (22–28°C / 72–82°F), and October (18–25°C / 64–77°F), offering pleasant temperatures, blooming landscapes in spring, and clear skies with fewer crowds in autumn. June (24–30°C / 75–86°F) is considered a good season, with long sunny days and perfect conditions for combining coastal hikes with island visits.

The peak summer months of July (28–35°C / 82–95°F) and August (30–38°C / 86–100°F) fall under mixed conditions, as temperatures can be quite high for long walks, though they are excellent for swimming and beach experiences.

The off-season from November to March (10–18°C / 50–64°F) is cooler with occasional rainfall and quieter coastal towns, making it less suitable for this itinerary.
