
Day 1: Perth to Pitlochry
Your Scottish adventure begins at Perth Railway Station, where you'll meet at 10:30 am. While your luggage is transferred directly to Pitlochry, you'll set off on the famous 'Salmon Run' along NCN Route 77. Following the River Tay northward, you'll cycle through the historic grounds of Scone Palace and pass through the picturesque village of Luncarty. The route continues on quiet roads through Bankfoot before arriving at the historic town of Dunkeld, renowned for its stunning ruined cathedral. The final stretch takes you through the 'Big Tree Country,' where towering ancient trees create a natural cathedral overhead, before arriving in the charming Highland town of Pitlochry.
