Arrival Information
Your cycling journey through Piedmont begins in Asti, a historic town in northwestern Italy. The most convenient airports are Turin Airport (TRN) and Milan Malpensa Airport (MXP), both of which offer onward connections towards Asti.
From Turin Airport, travel to Turin’s main railway stations and take a train towards Asti. From Milan Malpensa, take a train towards Milan and continue by rail to Asti, checking the latest connections and transfer times before departure. Alternatively, you can arrange a private taxi or transfer for a more direct journey.
Once you arrive in Asti, make your way to your first hotel and settle in. Depending on your arrival time, you can explore the town’s historic streets, enjoy a relaxed Italian meal, or simply prepare for the days ahead. The tour briefing is generally arranged between 2:00 pm and 6:00 pm on arrival day, or around 8:30–9:00 am the following morning.
We recommend arriving with enough time to settle in before your cycling adventure begins.
Departure Information
Your tour concludes in Asti after breakfast on Day 8. After checking out of your hotel, you can make your way to Turin Airport (TRN) or Milan Malpensa Airport (MXP) for your onward journey.
From Asti railway station, trains connect with the wider Italian rail network, allowing you to travel towards Turin or Milan and continue to your chosen airport. If you prefer a more convenient option, a pre-arranged private transfer or taxi can take you directly to the airport.
Please allow sufficient time for train connections, airport transfers and check-in, particularly if you have an international flight. We recommend checking current train schedules before travelling, as routes and departure times may vary.
