Arrival
Your tour begins in San Sebastian. It is served by Bilbao Airport (BIO). Regular PESA buses run directly from the airport terminal to San Sebastián’s central bus station. The journey takes about 75 minutes, with departures almost every hour throughout the day.
You can fly from Biarritz Airport (BIQ). Cross-border shuttle buses link the airport to San Sebastián. Travel time is usually 45–60 minutes, depending on traffic and border conditions.
San Sebastián has a small airport (EAS), located about 20 km from the city, with daily flights mainly to Madrid and Barcelona. From San Sebastián Airport (EAS), a bus from the Ekialdebus Line E21 connects the airport to San Sebastián’s center in roughly 30 minutes, offering an easy and affordable option.
San Sebastián has direct buses from many departure points and also the national RENFE train network.
Departure
Your tour ends in Santander which is served by Santander Airport (SDR) is just 5 km from the city center. The local Sardinero–Airport bus (Line S4, operated by ALSA) runs every 30 minutes, reaching the airport in around 20 minutes. The airport offers domestic connections to Madrid, Barcelona, and Valencia and international low-cost flights to several European cities.
By Train: Santander’s RENFE train station is located in the city center, next to the bus terminal. From here, regular services connect to Madrid, Valladolid, and other regional destinations.
By Bus: The Santander bus station is also centrally located, adjacent to the train station. Long-distance ALSA buses connect Santander with Bilbao, Oviedo, and Madrid (5–6 hours). City buses and taxis provide easy access to the station from all parts of the city.
