Rajasthan’s weather is dramatic and full of contrasts, changing beautifully with every season.
August and September bring the monsoon season to Rajasthan, and the countryside looks fresh, green, and full of life. Nights are comfortable, with temperatures around 25–30°C (77–86°F), while the days remain warm and humid at about 30–35°C (86–95°F). Rain usually falls in short bursts and then clears up, leaving behind cooler air and stunning landscapes that enhance outdoor experiences.
October marks a pleasant transition into drier weather, with clearer skies and comfortable conditions for exploring Rajasthan’s cultural sites, wildlife regions, and rural landscapes.
From November through February, Rajasthan enters its winter season, offering the most enjoyable time for multi-adventure travel. Days are sunny and mild with temperatures around 15–20°C (59–68°F), while nights in December and January can drop to 2–5°C (36–41°F), especially in higher areas, so warm clothing is recommended.
By March, temperatures begin to rise again, with nights around 25–30°C (77–86°F) and daytime heat reaching 30–40°C (86–104°F), making it a warmer but still rewarding period for safaris, hikes, and sightseeing.
In contrast, the intense summer months of April, May, June, and July are considered the off-season, as temperatures often soar to 35–45°C (95–113°F), making outdoor adventures far more challenging.
