Begin your Colombia cycling adventure with a morning bike tour through Medellín. After breakfast, meet the mechanic for a bike fitting and setup before riding through the city center.

Explore Botero Square and Medellín's central neighborhoods by bicycle before stopping for lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, continue by metro to Comuna 13, one of Medellín's most famous neighborhoods, where a local guide introduces you to its colorful streets, public art and innovative electric escalators.

The day's combination of cycling and urban exploration provides an engaging introduction to Medellín's remarkable transformation.

Leave Medellín by private vehicle and travel approximately 220 km to Aguadas, passing through the spectacular landscapes of Colombia's Coffee Region. After arriving in Aguadas, get on your bike for a 60-kilometer gravel cycling stage to Salamina.

The ride begins with a mostly downhill 15-kilometer section to Pacora, where you'll stop for lunch at a local restaurant. The route then transitions onto dirt roads through the green mountains of the Coffee Region, passing waterfalls, coffee plantations and traditional farmhouses before reaching the beautiful colonial town of Salamina.

Ride into the mountains surrounding Salamina on an intermediate-level mountain bike and gravel cycling route. The ride features repeated climbs and descents, dirt roads, river crossings and expansive views over the green Andean landscape.

The approximately five-hour ride finishes at a traditional coffee farm near Salamina. After a locally prepared lunch, discover the journey from coffee bean to cup during a hands-on Colombian coffee tour. Walk through the plantations, learn about harvesting and processing, see how beans are dried and roasted, and finish with a coffee tasting.

Travel by traditional Willys Jeep from Salamina to San Félix and continue into the mountains toward the spectacular Samaria Valley. Take a short walk among Colombia's towering wax palms, which can reach heights of up to 60 meters.

Return to San Félix and begin a demanding dirt-road cycling stage toward Marulanda. The route combines repeated climbs and descents before a long downhill section carries you toward Neira.

This is one of the tour's most adventurous cycling days, combining remote mountain landscapes, traditional Colombian transport and extensive dirt-road riding.

Continue your Colombia mountain biking adventure from Neira toward Manizales, crossing the Central Andes Range and reaching the opposite side with impressive views over the Cauca Valley.

Stop at Quinta San Felipe for lunch and time to relax by the swimming pool before continuing toward Manizales. The day's ride ends at Hacienda Venecia, a traditional coffee estate surrounded by plantations, mountains and tropical forest.

Start the day with a professional coffee experience at Hacienda Venecia, learning about Colombian coffee from plantation to cup. Visit the coffee plantations and processing facilities, roast coffee and enjoy a tasting.

After an early lunch, begin one of the tour's toughest short cycling stages. From the Manizales area, climb steadily into Los Nevados National Natural Park, progressing from cloud forest toward the high-altitude páramo ecosystem above 3,000 meters.

Despite its relatively short distance, the route packs significant elevation gain into the day.

Ride into the heart of Los Nevados National Park on one of the defining stages of this Colombia cycling tour. The route climbs through the mountains and crosses the national park, offering spectacular views over the surrounding valleys and toward the snow-capped Nevado del Ruiz, which rises to approximately 5,300 meters.

The highlight is the iconic Alto Cifón climb, reaching more than 4,100 meters in elevation. With no restaurants along the route, a packed lunch is provided for a scenic mountain stop.

Enjoy a spectacular long descent from the high Andes toward Colombia's Magdalena Valley. Ride first on paved roads to the coffee-growing town of Líbano, then continue downhill on dirt roads toward the warmer Magdalena Valley.

After lunch along the route, finish the cycling stage at La Sierra before transferring approximately two hours to Honda, a historic colonial town on the Magdalena River.

Take a break from the bike and explore Honda's colonial heritage with a local guide. Walk through the historic center and its quiet cobbled streets, discover traditional architecture and cross several of the city's historic bridges over the Magdalena River.

Visit the Magdalena River Museum before finishing the tour with lunch at a restaurant beside the river.

After lunch, collect the bikes and luggage and travel by private vehicle approximately 170 km to Bogotá, a journey of around 4.5 hours.

Experience Bogotá by bicycle during the city's famous Ciclovía, when major roads are closed to regular traffic and thousands of cyclists take over the streets.

The ride includes the iconic Alto de Patios climb, a 6.4-kilometer ascent and one of Colombia's best-known cycling climbs. After the climb, continue toward Bogotá's historic center and La Candelaria, where a guided cultural tour introduces you to the city's colonial streets and squares.

The day concludes with visits to two of Bogotá's renowned museums: the Gold Museum and Botero Museum.

After breakfast, a driver will transfer you to El Dorado Airport in Bogotá (approximately 40 minutes, 20 km) for your departure flight. Take with you unforgettable memories of Colombia's diverse landscapes, rich coffee culture, challenging mountain climbs, and warm hospitality.
