Day 1: Ho Chi Minh

Our guide meets you at your hotel at 13:00hrs.

Today explore some of the most popular sites - Ben Thanh Market, Saigon Opera House, Continental Hotel, The Reunification Palace, Notre Dame Cathedral and Post Office, The War Remnants Museum, China Town (Cho Lon in Dist 5), Thien Hau Pagoda, Landmark 81 building and Jade Emperor Pagoda. It gives you an excellent introduction to the city’s history with plenty of opportunities to soak up the unique mix of chaos and tranquility that is modern-day Saigon.

Day 2: Ho Chi Minh

Today bike to the famous Cu Chi Tunnels, an immense network of connecting underground tunnels. A shuttle transfer of about 90min brings us to the Tan Phu Trung village. After a short ride through narrow rural trails, take a ferry to a nearby island and bike past typical rural hamlets, rubber plantations, and paddy fields. Another ferry brings us closer to Cu Chi Tunnels. Our guide takes us on a walk through the tunnels and shares anecdotes along the way. Try the famous Cassava with green tea and peanut dip, the food of soldiers living in the tunnels during the war. After lunch at a local restaurant by the Saigon river, shuttle back to the city. Day 3: Fly to Hoi An

A short flight brings us to Hoi An.

Post-lunch, get ready to ride along the Thu Bon River through shrimp and coconut farms where the VC lived during American War towards Cua Dai beach. Get on a local ferry for a short ride to Duy Hai Fishing Village (island). A short distance away is the lovely town of Thuan Tinh, set among rice fields and coconut groves. Visit a strawberry garden, sample strawberry tea, and perhaps buy homemade strawberry wine. Also, witness live silkworms in various stages of maturity. Later check out Thanh Ha ceramic village and then take an hour boat journey back to Hoi An for dinner here.

Day 4: Hoi An

The architectural beauty of Hoi An will captivate you as this UNESCO World Heritage Site offers a melange of Vietnamese, European, Chinese, and Japanese monuments in an unhurried, timeless setting.

Today you can plan your own day, and enjoy the enchanting Hoi An town at leisure. A paradise for shoppers, a walk through the town gives a feel of an open-air museum. Spend the rest of the day as you wish – beach, shopping, exploring – whatever! or experience more of Hoi An by kayak.

Day 5: Hue

We avoid riding on Da Nang’s busy roads and transfer straight away to the point, 5km before the climb. Bike on over gradual hills in the coastal ride to climb Hai Van pass for views of this splendid bay and of wooden fishing boats, waterfalls, mountains, and pine forests. Ride the downhill with utmost care and stop for lunch by a delightful lagoon. A short transfer brings us to Phuoc Tuong where we ride the undulating mountain terrain and cross the gorgeous estuary of the Perfume River. Day 6: Overnight Train To Ninh Binh

Today take your bicycle out for a leisurely loop around the imperial town of Hué. Ride past the Citadel, Thien Mu Pagoda, Mausoleums, and the merchant’s houses along the banks of the Perfume River and through quiet lanes with lush gardens.

Day 7: Cuc Phuong

Our representative picks you up at the railway station and transfers you to the restaurant for a quick freshen-up. A short cycling ride along the river brings us to Trang An, known as Halong Bay on land. The landscape is largely dominated by limestone mountains, rivers, caves, and pagodas. Here we take a boat ride and get to experience the magical scenery dotted with natural and cultural wonders.

Day 8: Hai Phong

In the early morning hours, visit the Cuc Phuong National Park, an important site for biodiversity in Vietnam.

Day 9: Cat Ba Island

Day 10: Hanoi

After a hearty breakfast, get on board a smaller boat and take a journey to the more remote and secluded parts of the Lan Ha Bay waters and islands. Trade your boat with a kayak and explore the lagoons, the coral reef, beaches, and limestone peaks.

Ferry to Halong City and shuttle to Hanoi.
